Forward Prospect Statistics as of 01-24-10

St. Louis Game Time PROSPECT SUNDAYS

Forwards header

This has been anything but a banner week for the Blues' top forward prospects.

Two key pieces of the future -- junior center Philip McRae and rookie pro Brett Sonne -- were held off of the scorer's sheet entirely this week; no points, or penalty minutes, and an even plus-minus.

Three more foward prospects missed the entre week due to injury. Rookie pro Aaron Palushaj is still out with a lower-body injury suffered in Peoria's 5-1 won over Toronto on Jan. 8, but is not expected to be out for much longer. Injuries to college players Jay Bariball and Andrew Sackrison are more long-term; Barriball will miss the remainder of the season, while Sackrison is not expected back in the Minnesota State lineup until mid-February at the earliest.

Only two forward prospects managed to score multiple goals this week, one on this side of the Atlantic and one on the other, and only nine of the Blues' 24 forward prospects were able to dent the twine at all this week.
