No idea if any of you are even interested in chatting about this game, but it looks to be a great match-up after Canada beat the US in shootout in their preliminary round game.
Current Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo has a been a stud on defense for Canada, as has Blues prospect goalie Jake Allen. On the other side are Blues prospects Philip McRae and David Warsofsky.
Game is on the NHL Network in case you're into this kind of thing.

Well, its hard to say.
I want to come back for a Bachelorette party trip (getting married at the end of June) but I don’t know how many of the girls I can drag to St. Louis for a hockey game.
If we can make the playoffs, we might come down again & I’ve toyed with the idea of getting the fiance tix for his B-day…but we’ve also talked of going to Phoenix when the Blues play there in March…
So its hard to say.

The only thing I wonder is if Payne thinks he can contribute offensively without making mistakes…
Supposedly Payne is going to be encouraging the d-men to get deep in the offensive zone.
If he doesn’t think Petro is seasoned enough to make the decisions to get in deep or lay back, he might be headed for the junior team.

Wammer has ambitions to be a head coach someday
so this is a chance to get some experience in the AHL. Also, we have Belfour in the system ….not certainties yet, but that’s always an option
