Saturday Links: I miss Joe already Edition
Have fun with the move, AverageJoe. Living in St. Peters better mean there's more Link Rat Summits.
With beer. Lots of beer.

- 7:30 tonight against Dallas. Wouldn't want to get in the way of baseball now, would we? [Post Dispatch]
- Your source for all things concerning The Fox Sports-MW/Dish Network Debacle [Get What I Paid For]
NHL News:
- The Leafs can't lose. What the hell? [PPP]
- Reading this feature on why one starter and a backup is better than a 1A and 1B tandem makes me appreciate Ty Conklin even more. [Puck Daddy]
- Down Goes Brown with other ways to watch the bottom line. [DGB]
- Marian Gaborik left last night's game with an injury. Act surprised. [TSN]
- FrankenJersey's and others in this edition of Jersey Fouls. [Puck Daddy]

Other Stuff:
- Congrats, Joe. You're on your way put of Hannibal. Let's celebrate with an essay full of red ink that rags on, among other things, Mark Twain. [Essay]
- Solutions for everyday awkward situations. [Collegehumor]
Video:
Captain Roboto seems to be picking up his meaner side through these first few games. Maybe we'll see one of these again.
I don't know if you've ever heard of such a thing, but we do some pretty damn good GDTs around here. Check it out later.
And CCR's Road Music, too.

That Dish/Fox link
is a site run by Fox. I trust the info there a tiny bit more than the info Dish is giving me, but both companies still suck.

Why don't the Blues just go back exclusively to Channel 11?
KPLR is in pretty much every cable market that Fox Midwest is… every market that would be interested in seeing the Blues, anyway.
Fox in general can kiss my ass for a variety of reasons, but I’m in favor of keeping it local… or perhaps SCP could buy KPLR and turn it into a regional superstation, a sort of WGN for Missouri and downstate Illinois.

Aye, but...
…a feed that sucks donkey balls is better than no feed at all, non?

Hear hear!
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
I've eaten
sheep’s balls, atomic frog balls but never donkey balls. How do they taste?
Just a chew toy for the hockey gods
I've also eaten nuts...
Bulls nuts…aka Rocky mountain Oysters…taste like salty chicken…goes good with or after a night of drinkin the Blue Agave.

Another reason to love Eric Brewer
Great fight clips. Wasn’t too decisive but loved that he does shit like that to step. Thank you Sir.
