Thursday Links: McRib is back! edition

That headline was mostly for Chris Kerber. I'm indifferent on the McRib, but I love it because Kerbs does.

As the radio voice of the Blues goes, so do I.

And if the McRib has been back for a while now and I'm late to the party, well, fuck you.

Blues News:

  • Paperwork Ninja spotted you this one in the comments yesterday, but in case you missed it, Rutherford wants you to know that Blown Leads Are Plaguing the Blues [Post-Dispatch]
  • The bad: Jeremy Rutherford won't be answering your questions in the weekly chat. The good: David Perron will be. [Post- Dispatch]

NHL News:

  • By now, you're aware of the Mark Rick Rypien saga where he did not take kindly to a Wild(s) fan. Two links assessing the legal aspects of the situation, neither of whom are lawyers. [Puck Daddy] & [Hockey Wilderness]
  • Darren Dreger wagers it could be a double digits vacation for Rypien. [TSN]
  • Derek Zona, of Copper and Blue fame, wonders why Nicklas Backstrom didn't get the heave-ho for a couple of games. [SBNation]
  • Not another Coyotes saga: The Stars may or may not have been spotted a cool $8 million by the NHL. Seems like a rather large amount of money to be unsure on. [Defending Big D]
  • The Senators may be ready to deal after stumbling out of the gates [TSN]
  • Why haven't any of these bastards scored yet? Not that I'm complaining about Holmstrom or anything. [Puck Daddy]
  • While most late roster additions end up with labels of "depth signing" or "meh," some have really made GMs look smart. [From the Rink]
  • All of Wednesday's scores. [TSN]

Other Stuff:

  • To better honor our radio man, let us all embrace any knowledge of the McRib [Wikipedia]
  • The Rent Is Too Damn High: Politics we can all agree with. [R2DH]
  • Pokemon: The Later Years [Dorkly]

Video:

After years of pursuit, the hunters that got Bambi's Mom finally bagged the deer they were looking for.

They had to call in some outside help, though. Thanks to GTPD for the suggestion.

I still have no idea how Joe does this as often as he does.

I got it.

See if we can get him to poke fun at David Backes. “Who goes out and makes fun of people’s skates? Seriously, who does that?”

Another one

“Who makes fun of a guy that outscored him (20 goals to 17 last year)? Seriously, who does that?”

So is McRib back now? The wiki article says November 2. Kerbs and I have two things in common, our first names, and our love of McRib. Hold the onions on mine though.

More McRib love here. I have them leave the onions on, then pull off about 3 quarters of them

PCS -- You are the man

If I get my webs hooked up tomorrow, I’ll cover the weekend shift.

St. Louis Game Time Fact: Morning links are part of a well-balanced meal.

5 of 10 of those non scoring players

are on my fantasy team

yuuuuup….

First they thought I was ASD, and then ADHD, and after a few years of having MD, they told me that I am probably EI. But all I know for sure is that I have TS... Fuck it, just call me alphabet soup.

I just dropped Gagne in my third league...

… which means he’ll score about 23 goals this weekend.

Shame to see Eller on the list, although I think anyone who was expecting him to be the second coming of Lecavalier (read: Hab Fan) should have realized that he’s still wet behind the ears. But if they really want Offense Now, I suppose the Blues could trade D’Agostini back – you know, just to take Eller off their hands.

soooo

have you figured out what planet he is from then?

I recognized my kinship with all living beings, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on earth ... while there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.

The Perron chat wasn't bad.

He predicted that Cam Janssen will be the top scorer this year.

I take it Cam and David don’t always get along, or do they just mess with each other all the time?

i mean seriously have your EVER seen perron and janssen on the ice at tyhe same time?

i thought not
