I'm so glad that the Post-Dispatch went with the headline "Johnson's Talent on Display"
Because they could have gone with “Talented Johnson on Display” and ruined a lot of mornings.

The Monday Night Miracle coincides with the general timetable that I became aware hockey existed.
I was 5.
LET’S GO BLUES!
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
This figures
Of course when I draft Kovy for my fantasy team this happens. Typical luck of mine.
Anyway, how sweet was this weekend? It was an amazing weekend in Missouri sports. The Blues sweep the hawks and Pens, and Mizzou knocks off Oklahoma. I declare this to be a week of drunken revelry/me going to class and work. MOZZELTOV!
Barret Jackman is my hero.
Fueled. These new shores burn. Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more.
Yeah, and the Rams had a monumental game...
… where they – umm, what? They did what?
Same-old.
Sorry-assed.
Thank God for hockey.

Something I just thought of regarding the Pens game.
Okay, the Pens came in on Thursday and practiced on Friday and had the opportunity to scout the Blues against Chicago. The Blues played back-to-back games, not getting a chance to rest like the Pens did. If the Blues would have been rested, would there have been a need to go into overtime? Considering how both teams fought in a stalemate despite the Blues having two games in a row I’d say they could have shut the Penguins out early without need for overtime. The game would likely not have been as exciting, but you never know.

Anybody else get annoyed...
That Dan O’Neill always starts his articles with random paragraphs about some sports person/event from years and years ago with little actual relevance to the actual article?
He seemed to do okay with the two articles linked here.
He kept on focus with talking about the Blues’ talented Johnson and the new fire lit within the team.

I had to put Marcus's

Sadly no schedule on it

Yeah . . .
I’m tired of looking at my “Silent Jay McClement for Selke” desktop. I need a calendar.
