Links going to be a little short(er) today — I'm upholding the blogger stereotype and blogging from my parents' house. All that means is, shit(tier) internet connection. Enjoy.

Videos
The Blues, specifically Erik Johnson, David Perron and T.J. Oshie, should stick to hockey and not try the whole acting thing. I gotta say, I like this ad better than the "I'm David Backes and I mock my teammates" ad.

Do you like this story?

Yeah, I like that one better, too...
EJ and Frenchie look pretty serious, Oshie is smirking as usual, and Backes is… well, he’s Backes.
I think this one captures their personalties pretty well.

I made a Bay-ified picture...
And here it is:

I once shot a man just to see him die...then I got distracted and missed it.
Considering he's speaking his SECOND language...
…I think DP57 did pretty well.
Do NOT putz with David Backes… or this happens!

Serious?

That’s serious. Because it’s what really happened on the ice.

That's right.
Inglourious Backes didn’t have to use his gun. He just threatened Toews with his bomb hand and the Blackhawks’ captain’s head exploded from the thought of how awesome it would be to get punched in the face by David Backes and his bomb hand. Then a bunch of other stuff happened and Shia LeBoeuf’s head flew through the air.

Actually, if the picture was bigger, you could make it into an NHL 11 cover...
Too bad the picture’s not big enough.

The Bayifier needs work...
… there is no clip art for “small mountain of cocaine” or “Directing For Dummies”.
it also has a
a subtle hint of a story in the picture.
too things anti-bayifing are subtlty and story.

as i sit here in washington mo
and ponder why i continue to drink corn squeezins for 3 days and howl at the moon, i realize i do have somthing to show for my malaise. In a raging poker game i was able to fleece a senior associate out of a genuine yellow seat from the ole barn. I had just posted last week on the ole barn pic fanpost of my quest for such a seat for the shrine when opportunity knocked. Inspection of the seat is sat when i will either take possesion of the long awaited addition or i will shoot the SOB for cheating in a poker game.
Back to soaking my head.

very cool
will it fit on the plane?
My sister and brother-in-law brought me my birthday present yesterday. A big shadow box. They filled it with 6 autographed pucks (my internet has been out a few days so I’m at work and can’t remember them all)
An autographed Cliff Ronning hockey card (I loved him-gotta root for the little guys)
And-remember the discussion about those souvenir Pepsi bottles? 2 of those unopened. I added my Al Mac autographed puck to it. Unfortunately it’s not big enough for my game used/autographed Al stick.

I'm not sure if it will fit in the carry on.
and I don’t trust any of my friends to leave it with them, it’ll be on ebay the next day if I do.
Kewl you got some Blues stuff too. I need some signed sticks and pucks now. It kills me to think of the signed sticks we got from the Blues at Winterland that we destroyed while playing street hockey with them.

Can’t look any worse than some of the other things I’ve seen spitting out of baggage carousels.
Apparently it's down to Drazenovic.
Tweets reporting that Scatchard and Porter were sent down. This means they keep 8 D right? Does this mean that Strachan sits? Or does Cole or Pie get sent down anyhow?
Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.
Cola is still hurt so until he comes back were set at 7. Strachan sticks as the 7th guy who sits and either Cole or Pie get the 6th spot. Cole probably gets sent down.

Just because Jay McClement is the best defensive forward in the NHL doesn't mean he should win the Selke.
I like Draz...
really really pleased that he’s staying up.

I'm just glad it's one of them.
I was beginning to get worried that someone in the front office was about to play the “veteran leadership” card and keep Scatchard.
speaking of veteran leadership
flyers released billy guerin today.. and with the injury bug goin round..
i know, i know, not a good long term decision.

Oh, God, the ads this year...
As long as I don’t have to see the Hat of Lies again, I guess I’m ok, but EJ was painfully bad. Wow.
