NHL Center Ice - pros and cons?

Since I'm one of the "lucky" Dish Network customers who won't get to see any Blues games on TV this year (unless things get resolved soon), I'm considering coughing up for Center Ice. If I ignore the fact that I'll have to pay a lot of money for something I should be getting "for free", what are the pros and cons? For instance, how many games will be in HD? Since this will be Center Ice as provided by Dish Network, I'm worried about the quality.

Did anybody have Center Ice on Dish Network last year? How was the quality? What are the rules on blackouts? What other negatives are there?

I'm not really a fan of sitting at the computer to watch a game -- once in a while it's fine, but 40+ games? No thanks.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
