Care to see a Blues preview I did for TV?

As some of you might know, by day I'm a reporter for a TV station in Columbia. I pitched doing a Blues season preview to my editor...who thought that hockey was not covered enough here, and considering how much buzz the team has let me go in and do it. Please to enjoy.

it's amazing to me

how many people don’t understand that there is a specific dance. They understand that they need to stand up and do something with their arms, but it’s not the right thing. It’s hilarious.

I’ll take the PP dance over towel boy any day.

I faked like I was going to get up and do the PP dance at the opener

DanGNR just raised his elbow and said “No, don’t make me knock you out!” LOL. He wasn’t sure if I was going to stand up or what but he had the warface on like he had no qualms dropping me right there.

Nice, was pretty rare to see hockey on KOMU

I think the only hockey coverage we ever had in the MOian was maybe a wire story about the Stanley Cup.

(also one of the better remote packages I’ve seen from broadcast students, nice work!)

Weren’t you at all tempted to sneak a paper copy of Game Time or a Game Time sticker in there though? Maybe some B roll footage of the Game Time paper being sold outside Drink Scottch Trade Center?

Commendable for getting some hockey reported on KOMU airwaves. You have got to know that you made the day of any Blues and/or Hockey fans that were watching!
