I think there were

about 8 Oilers on the ice during that fight. Started by Avery with a sucker punch after he said (allegedly) he wouldn’t fight that shift.

Hello all!

Just letting you know that I am still alive. There was no way I was going to make the GDT on Saturday for a couple reasons. 1) rec league hockey game started at 7:00 2) hubby has good CPU with him in Wyoming while he’s trying to shoot Bambi’s dad.

That being said, I will TRY to make an appearance tonite vs the Avs…but I’m still stuck with crappy laptop that we have to have hooked to TV for a screen. Its great /sarcasm.

Also, we lost on Satuday in our rec game 4-2. I wound up pretty pissed and gave up in the end because I spent 2/3rds of my time on the ice WIDE open and the fucksticks on defense, left wing & center would NOT pass to me. At the end of the 3rd I even sat back and cherry picked WAY behind all their Defense…still no passes. I know I’m not the best puck handler…but fuck, when I’m wide the hell open I can at least get it into the zone. UGH. Definately NOT liking my team thus far…and its a long season to go.

I need to do something, thats for sure...

And funny you mention going “David Backes” on them…my rec league # is 42 (for Backes…hehehe). But on a serious note, I hate leaving rec games all pissed off…I mean it IS only a rec game…but still…when I try and try and get nowhere…UGH.

I’ll try to be around tonite, not sure how well I can watch the game from the kitchen & be on the GDT….I’ll figure something out :)

And the hubby “needs” the CPU for watching videos etc while they’re NOT out hunting…this freaking laptop is like a suitcase, I swear to god…its borderline riddiculous…

That stuff with Campbell makes a lot of sense. Its shocking to hear, but at the same time its stuff we pretty much knew all along. Yahoo has a great article on it too.

Unlike another team..

in the SLG Fantasy Hockey League “A” pool who sat all his Penguins during the Pens Blues game,
I am going to play Mr. Budah tonight in hopes that I win SOMETHING.

Either the Blues light him up and make my fantasy team suck while we get a nice Blues win on national tv, or I get some fantasy points…. or something….
