Also, I heard from a friend last night that the Blues were possibly picking up Ryder from Boston. Since they’re so screwed on cap space and need to clear 4mil, which happens to be Ryder’s contract, and we have the cap space, I guess it makes sense.

Thoughts?

I thought that we weren't going to look outside of the org for help to replace Osh for right now?

Or some sort of company line like that. Anywho, I enjoyed leaving the ATL game where a full 60 wasn’t played, turning on the radio, and then listening to STL stop playing midway through the 3rd. Usually the Blues are the redeeming feature of leaving a Thrashers game, but last night they managed to piss me off more.

Well

I got asked today if I’m going to stay up and watch hockey “very often”. Turns out I’ve been a right grumpy bugger all day.

It wasn’t so much the fact that we lost…it was the MANNER of our losing. Too many shocks in a short space of time.

I thought Hensick played a pretty strong game. I don’t know how many minutes he got but I was never emotionally stressed when he was on the ice, so keep him around for a bit longer.

In the other departments, Halak needs to end his cold streak and get back on his hot streak, the injured people need to hurry up and heal, and we need to stop letting a one goal difference turn into a fucking 10 and 3 game.

The last 4-5 games have started as a one goal difference and ended with us letting in like 5 goals because we shit the bed. I don’t know what we need to cure that, but jesus christ, get it together.

Good thing I was bowling last night.

Although I’d say the lowlight of the night was when I turned around after rolling a strike, saw the TV and saw that the game was now 6-3.

Then I bought another beer and felt a bit better.
