BREWER!!!!
So did anyone this year think that La Captain Brewer would be have such a good year? A +/-5 after all the scoring the other teams have done. I hope that it's not because his contracts up next year. Also when are they going to pull Tyson Strachan +/- -6. It seem that every time he steps pn the ice its a goal for the other team. Well thats all i got. LETS GO BLUES AND AS ALWAYS FUCKDAHAWKS AND FUCKDAWINGS!!!!!

I think,
it’s because he is finally healthy and more importantly it’s his contract year. If being healthy was the only problem, then why did he suck when he first came here? That’s why I hope management doesn’t resign him based on this season.
If you mean '05-'06
I guess we differ on our definitions of healthy. Brewer only played 32 games that season due to dislocating his right and left shoulders in separate incidents. That combined with the entire teams performance that season (21-46-15) would make it hard for a player of any caliber to look “good.”
I’m not trying to argue that Brewer is an All-Star, but due to injury and several seasons of not-so-great teams, I certainly don’t believe we as Blues fans have had the opportunity to see the best he has to offer.

Ok,
you kind of have me there, but from the start of the season til mid November he was healthy and had a bad +/-, yes a bad team, but he wasn’t much better. Also, besides this season he has had only 1 other positive season +/- wise. I think Brewer is having a very good season, I think it is just a contract year or he has been playing through injuries his entire career.
I can see eye-to-eye with that.
I would prefer if the Blues didn’t re-up his contract, I just wanted to iterate that the poor guy has had a number of seasons of injury, and at least deserves a fair shake in regards to his talent level. :)

Yeah. I'm with Dan.
He’s having a good year. Whether it be because it’s a contract year or the fact that he’s been injury free I don’t know. That being said, I don’t think he should be resigned. We have so many up and coming D-men in the pipeline I can’t see them doing it. If they do, I wouldn’t think they’d give him over 2mil.
