Forward Prospect Statistics as of Feb. 14, 2010

Compiled by Brian Weidler, "Game Time" Prospect Department

St. Louis Game Time PROSPECT SUNDAYS

Forwards header

There's no love for the back of the net among the Blues' forward prospects for this week ending on St. Valentine's Day. Only four forwards on our weekly list scored goals in the last seven days, and none dented the twine more than once in that span.

Three of those goals were scored by forward prospects playing for the Peoria Rivermen. Lars Eller and Brett Sonne both tallied last Tuesday in a 4-2 loss at Chicago, while sparkplug Aaron Palushaj picked up his first goal since Dec. 19 in a 2-1 loss last night at home to the San Antonio Rampage.

Simon Hjalmarsson, another product of the bountiful 2007 Entry Draft for the Blues' system, also tallied this week in a come-from-behind 4-3 win for Rögle BK Ängelholm over Linköpings HC on Monday, Feb. 8. Video of his goal, and of a pretty pass to a wide-open man for the game-tying goal, is available by clicking HERE. Hjalmarsson's goal is at 1:41, and the assist can be seen at 1:57 of the video.

Hjalmarsson's goal was pretty sweet . . .

but that helper was even sweeter.
