There's gotta be a better picture of Brett Sonne somewhere . . .
in that one, he looks like he just smelled one of his own farts.
Great report again, B!

Workin' on it, sir...
I am trying to use only pictures I’ve taken myself wherever possible… but since my computer crashed on me, I may have lost all of my pics from the last three Development Camps, and will have to start from scratch and salvage whatever I have on my camera chips and already saved at Photobucket.

Is it just me, or does Petro seem to land on here every Sunday?
Is it too much to expect a Calder-like year from him next season?
I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"
He SUCKS!!!
Is a bust, and we are going to trade him away for, like… Ray Whitney, for the PO push. Right, Weids?

Those jake oafs banned me for naughtiness at the political speech board — but keep letting the guys who call our goddamn president “Buckwheat” and “Shaft” post their drivel with impunity — so fan ta ’em…

off topic
hey brian what are the odds (literally) on the blues drafting mark pysyk this year with their first rounder. he is ranked about were the blues will pick and baby pleau always speaks highly of them and has daddy pleau’s (although ‘retiring’) ear. i’d really hate another d-man though…

I've seen some mock drafts have Pysyk going to the Blues...
…but I don’t see it.
Even if the Blues do end updrafting a defenseman, I think there will be better defensemen than Pysyk on the board when the Blues pick… and I think they almost have to pick a scoring forward with this first-rounder. There aren’t any first-rate snipers/goal scorers in the system, and aside from Eller, McRae, Lehtera and Tyler Shattock, no guys with real high offensive upside.

yea i keep seeing him mock drafted to the note which is
why i asked. the pleau connection plus the fact that he is reportededly a great team member, leader, and tonnes of “intangibles” all stuff the blues value more than stats, had got me wondering though. of the blues make the playoffs, there won’t be as many “better d men” and even if they dont the blues will reach a few picks to get “character”.
i really really really hope though, even if on their sheet the bap is a d-men, that for once the blues pick a forward no matter what.

one last question for you brian
on the mock draft angle.
when you are offically mock drafting somewhere that intends to become an internet standard, do they suggest a draft criteria to you?
i mean if you were mock drafting for the blues tomorrow. would you pick your bap, who you think the blues bap is, who the blues might actually draft (bap or not) and would the group putting together the mock draft influence who you picked? if you mocked drafted 15 times tomorrow, for 15 different sites, would you pick the same player 15 times? (assuming he was always available)

I'd take my BPA, and if I drafted 15 times, if that player was there in all 15 drafts, I'd take him 15 times...

Unless someone I had ranked higher was available instead...
