IOC to Investigate Canadian Women's Gold Medal Celebration?
Read the article and click on the picture to see the whole spread.
It looks as if the stands are empty. Most are just chilling and posing with their medals. The only problem is that a player or 2 maybe slightly underage. I say let them have their moment in the sun, they sure as hell deserved it. If sheriffs are elected up there and the current one hauls them in front of a judge on charges, there might be a problem around election time...just sayin.

Oh for shit's sake.
Isn’t drinking age up there 18 anyways? Honestly, if the IOC has a problem with this, they can go jump off a glacier. No Canadian judge’d ever follow through with charges for these girls.

hmmm
a) the age is 19 meaning the iioc can be in big trouble if it knows and does not act to eliminate illegal minor aged drinking at its events. the drinking is a MUST correct mostly do to lawyers.
b) its douchie. is this the miracle on ice? no its the predestined arrival of the known. 30 minute celebration. a ’bration so long even the homie fans have left? act like you did yoiu job not reivented the skate.. sheesh
c) on the other hand —-wrist slapping appropriate, expulsion from village or closing ceremonies would be assinine

The age is 19 in BC, apparently.
I think it was the same number in Ontario the one time I was there.
Either way . . . doubtful anyone really gives a flying fuck except for the IOC – the NFL of international sport governing bodies.

For some reason I thought it was 18. Weird.
It was kind of a douche move, but all of the fans were gone anyway. I think kicking them out or not allowing them to attend the closing ceremonies would be extremely over-reactive. They won a gold medal and were excited. It’s not like Canada forged their birth certificates to get them into the games. The IOC’d come down HARD on them then.
Wait… what?

It's 18 in Alberta, where this team trains....
And I assume where they live most of the time.
This was harmless, and kinda fun, IMO. Canadians gained a point or 2 in my book.
There definitely has to be an investigation....

Canadian champagne? WTF? How broke is the Canadian Olympic Committee????
I want answers!
well...
….if so that at least wouldn’t be an abomination against God and man.
