So the Blues went after Kovy . . .
Despite the recent losses to our bitter rivals this news is music to my ears. The Blues have had some free space under the cap to work with for a season or two and the idea that we not only entertained, but pursued a monster trade for Kovy scratches my balls. Its awesome to know that management is as pissed off with mediocrity as all of us are. Thank you JD, Larry, and co. please continue to swing big dicks and land us a top threat, fuck it we only need to win 4 more games than Nashville and everyone below them to make the playoffs, theres a lot of hockey left and space is hard to make up, but we can do that shit, its 4 games.
I will continue to stand behind this team although i have this deep feeling something terrible might happen or we wont make the playoffs. Anyone else have their fancy tickled with the idea of our organizations pursuit

Kovy would have been cool
But if we got kovy we would be on the clock for winning, which means we had to trade minor league talent not the kid line. We weren’t going to win this year even with him, management realizes this and acted accordingly. I appreciate a ownership group that wants to win but has patience to be realistic.
its a sign
that the ufa’s won’t be back either. they aalso leaked the players involved the blues were ok with and not ok with traading so that is a bit on the edge.
