Not sure how to feel about next year
Last year even with the sweep out of the playoffs I really had a great feeling about how we’d play this year. Well seeing how that turned out I honestly am not feeling great about next year. Is Payne going to be able to get them going like they are now out of the gate or will it be AM all over again? It’s a toss up in my opinion and that depresses me. Oh well I’ll be there watching the whole time screaming my head off at the TV so I guess it doesn’t matter much does it.
LETS GO BLUES!
No one knows why, but second only to eating the brains of the living, the dead love affordable pre-fab furniture.
As Dave Attell once said . . .
“Because nothing’s more mysterious . . . than a dump on the floor.”
Or in the back seat of a Honda, apparently.
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
Fan ta the Crosbys Penguins…
I don’t care how much Gary Bettman enjoys burying his nose in Sid the Kid’s pimply ass cheeks… every team in the league should get a shot at playing in a Winter Classic before anyone else gets their second one.
Washington needs to play Ottawa in a Winter Classic, on a frozen-over Rideau Canal… now that would be epic. The franchises representing the capital cities of the two leading hockey-playing nations, playing in a natural outdoor, natural setting. What could be cooler – or more “back-to-the-roots” – than that?

That caterpillar baby is just friggin' creepy...
…reminds me of something I read in one of those “Strange Tales” comic books way back when I was a kid, about this beautiful chick who works as a nurse at a hospital for the physically deformed. The handsome hero is warned by the doctor who runs the place not to fall in love with ther, but he does anyway, and it turns out she looks like that caterpillar baby, and just wears a girl suit whenever the hero is around.
Gave me the willies for weeks, and made such an impression on me that I still remember it vividly forty years later.
But I was thinking Cyclops and the X-Men even before seeing the Photoshopped pic of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in there…
