Tuesday links: I'm on a horse edition
Lot of good stuff to get to — no time for introductions that no one reads.
Blues news
- Several members of the Blues, along with some coaches and former Blues and other random guys, will be playing in a charity softball game. As a kid, I went to the Brendan Shanahan softball game and it was a lot of fun. I still remember the year he got traded, he invited Chris Pronger to play in the game. I got Prongs' autograph on a rookie card, but I remember him looking so uncomfortable. [Blues]
- The Blues TV ratings were way up and fifth among all NHL teams. Just imagine if this team had been, you know, good. [Biz of Hockey]
Hockey news
- The Bruins are going to Round 2. [TSN]
- The Blackhawks have knocked off the Predators. Hawks vs. Nucks in Round 2. Ugh. Go Twinkies? [TSN]
- Client Jaroslav Halak stood on his head and made Carey Price's price get cheaper and cheaper. Habs and Caps are going to a Game 7. [TSN]
- Jacques Lemaire is retiring. I hope he takes the trap with him. [TSN]
- Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Kurtis Foster, San Jose Sharks forward Jed Ortmeyer and Washington Capitals goalie Jose Theodore are all up for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. [ESPN]
- Dan Hamhuis thinks Marian Hossa got off easy. [ESPN Chicago]
- Shane Doan and his Doan Face is a game-time decision for Game 7. He's gonna play, unless he's dead. [ESPN]
- A look at the Maple Leafs — and the Kings and Blues — Cup-less drought. [Behind The Net]

Videos
First up, Turd Ferguson passes along the latest batch of Randy Moller goal calls.
Next up is J-Mill. Fresh off his front-page feature comes a video that will make you think differently of Alvin and his Chipmunk friends. J-Mill says this ruined his childhood, but I disagree — it makes sense that Alvin liked pot. Lyrics not safe for work.
Man I really want some Colt 45 — it works every time.
That'll do for today. gametimelinks(at)gmail.com

Damn I was rooting for the Sabres
Well it still feels right to have “my” team bounced in the first round.
Maybe it improved my dream of seeing Ryan Miller in the Note haha snort
