Compiled by Brian Weidler, "Game Time" Prospect Department
"Game Time" PROSPECT SUNDAYS.
A pair of 2007 first-rounders skating in the AHL, a third-round Euro who's been at the top of his league all year, and two juniors that are taking charge in the playoff fortunes of their teams, make up the Game Time "Fab Five" this week.
Honorable mention at forward goes to:
** Philip McRae, Plymouth (OHL): 2 GP, 0-3-3, +1, 0 PM, 0-0-0.
** Anthony Peluso, Alaska (ECHL): 2 GP, 0-2-2, +2, 0 PM, 0-0-0.
And on defense:
** Nate Guenin, Peoria (AHL): 4 GP, 1-2-3, +3, 9 PM, 0-0-0.
See the upward trenders for this week, after the jump...

Cole and Eller playing like you expect you expect your first round picks to play
Also found it interesting that Hockeys Future (once more, take it for what you will) has Shattock ranked in the 10 best prospect in the WHL currently owned by an NHL team.
I still love our influx of youth. Hell, if the Blues don’t make the playoffs, attending the Blues prospect camp might be the best 4 days I have in sports for the next 6 months.

when
and where is that? never been before, soubds like a cool time.
Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky was in a production of The King and I? Well anyway, before the show, Brasky chloroforms the entire cast, and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews.

Well, it was at the St. Louis Mills Mall last year
That’s were the Blues official practice rink is, anyway. Packed in like Sardines for the Scrimmage on Night 4.
As for when, not sure. Last year was early July, but you’ll hear from us around that time. And yeah, I had a blast there last year myself

Make sure you bring your nephew's Spider-Man goalie mask for more autographs this year.
That mask was epic; I loved it. The only thing cooler would be the Doctor Doom mask I always wanted to get…

Heh, think you have me confused for someone else that was there
I was the one who came with my cousin all 4 days, and was teaching her who everyone was (to the point that I think she now knows just about everyone of our prospects).

I think we easily have 8 or 10
players that could play with the big boys next yr.
I know some aren’t ‘ready’ or big enough but that is the case for every player.
Some come up and are overwehlmed but you stick with them and they come around.
Some come up and explode but then the 2nd yr flounder for various reasons.
The Blues organization seems to let their players stay in the minors until they’re deemed ready.
Sometimes you never know if a player is ready until they’re given the chance and I don’t mean 1 or 2 games.

When is Pietrangelo's Junior season over?
Can’t he be sent to Peoria then?
I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"
Never mind - I just saw the playoff update
