I guess it was a misprint at first??
Hockey players wear numbers because you can't always identify the body with dental records.
It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all. Laura Ingalls Wilder
Also on Puck Daddy
Dishonorable mention: Keith Tkachuk(notes) was given a double-minor for a “borderline dirty hit” that knocked Andrew Murray(notes) of the Blue Jackets into the boards and out of the game. No TV coverage of the game, however, due to Versus exclusivity rights.
Also sounds like a dig on the NHL giving up all rights to one place, how long is this contract?
On the radiocast it sounded like Walt was injured.

That call sounded bogus on the radio...
…and neither Chase nor Kerber agreed with it (again, hardly surprising).
They made it sound likje Big Wallet just caught some joker with his head down and hit him shouklder-to-shoulder. But again, thanks to Gary Bettman and Versus, we’ll never know.

What I can't figure out is...
I realize the exclusivity rights and all that, blah, blah, blah…but not even video highlights on the website? The only thing you can see is post game interviews. Sad.
You would think that they'd be able to have the feed from the scoreboard or something.
Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.

the daddy part three
Paid attendance in St. Louis was 17,601, “ending a string of 15 straight sellouts for the Blues.” — actually game was fairly full. far more than a few of the sellouts had been.
walt complained about the hit not being a board. the other two minutes was a ROUGH (so he didnt get 4 for boarding). kariya compained for his penatiues. the fans complained as there was about two other phantom penalties. etc.

Man, you got THAT right… but considering the source, I’m hardly surprised… Lord, Mr. Pulitzer, what has your creation become?

It is unfortunate, he would be supremely dissapointed

Jackman plays for this team whenever he’s fit.
I’m still totally annoyed by the team giving up on a 21 year old kid with skill [Aaron Palushaj] for Dags who was supposed to contribute now but is really just another healthy scratch in a must-win April game against the effing CBJ.
And another thing.
Who asks the beat writer to remain anonymous when standing up for a teammate?
COME ON!
Don’t be afraid of phony supporters.
I think I enjoyed that Boohbah site a lil too much.

click on the characters on the homepage, they start dancing to some really sweet beats.
If that site would’ve been around when I was little, I don’t think I would’ve done anything else. I had computer games that did similar things and they were so fun!

I did too, it's ok.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky was in a production of The King and I? Well anyway, before the show, Brasky chloroforms the entire cast, and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews.
