That world cup reaction video
Gave me chills.
Especially since the actual goal was on a rebound, you can see the crowd getting excited, bummed then overjoyed in a span of 2.5 seconds.
I haven’t felt like that since the gold medal game when we tied it up with 17 left.
Second City Hockey
Damn dust in the office
Has to be something in my eye

Was at the firehouse
all the FFs were watching it on the big screen. Place went ape shit on the goal. I went out and hit the engine air horn and lights, almost putting a blue hair driving by in the bushes. Chief came out of his office wondering what the fuck was wrong with the radio guy and why all the hollering.
Just a chew toy for the hockey gods
The lost cat poster link
I don’t know why but I found that link to fucking hilarious….
I watched that world cup video like 10 times already and it still makes me proud
If we could just sign Gunner Stall this offseason from Iceland, I think we would have the cup!
That dude is HILARIOUS
Go read the pie charts piece. Or the party invitation one. That one makes me laugh every time I read it, which is probably about eight times now.

i also love that they felt SO slighted on zberg’s 44-point season not getting HIM the trophy. can i note that Berglund put up 47 points in his rookie season and didn’t even get a real SNIFF of consideration? wah wah, wings fans. eat a dick. fuck detroit.

Never before have I seen a flatbed truck carrying a flatbed truck . . . that, too, was carrying a pickup truck.
Hopefully never again.
Oh, and it’s not like Tyler Meyers helped lead the Sabres to the playoffs or anything. And regarding Jackman/Zetterberg, the award isn’t handed out eight years after the fact. Fuck Detroit in the ear.
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.

Detroit Red Wing fans...
…the single most spoiled, childish, jealous, self-important bunch of assclowns to ever delude themselves into thinking they have some kind of entitlement to championships and league awards.
Few things in life will give me more pleasure than seeing the Red Wings finish in the Central Division cellar, and listening to their whiny fanbase cry all summer about how badly they were screwed by the refs, the NHL, ESPN and everyone else even remotely connected with the game of hockey.
Go Cheney yourselves, you idiots.

Oh, and those jake oafs have been crying about how Jackman "stole" the Calder from Zetterberg...
…since about ten seconds after Jackman was announced as the winner of the trophy.
Blow me, Wings’ fans.

That was an awesome video
Sucks that I have to work tomorrow
I’ll have to record the match and put myself on news blackout until I can get home and watch it.

I don’t know if I can keep some news from hitting my ears that long

Did we not give Cola a new offer?
"Everyone knows everybody loves fights. They better start listening to the people who are at the game and pay the money than the twits upstairs who get in for free."
Depends on if you trust Andy Strickland
He reported that the Blues have offered Cola a two year contract extension worth a little more than he earned last year, but have had little discussion since then. Cola’s probably going to take the show to July 1st to see if he gets any better offers, so we’ll have to see how that one plays out.
That whole "draft" thing starts tonight, doesn't it?
When does it start and where can I watch it?
Though I certainly couldn’t accept a link or info on where to watch it illegeally online – that would be immoral. nudge-nudge, snap-snap, grin-grin, wink-wink, say-no-more
I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"
I don't have
A link, but the party starts at 6pm central on versus.

Yeah, yeah... I'm gonna go to J. Bucks for the Draft Party...
…ONLY because it’s like five minutes from where I work (i.e. where I am right now) at Olive and 170.
Yeah, it’s gonna be a cluster-fuck… but at least in Clayton there ought to be one or two classy babes in the joint.
Whatever happened to having a draft party at the Drinkscotch Center, like they did in 2008 when Pietrangelo was drafted? The Cards are out of town this weekend, and thre agles concert was yesterday, so it’s not like there’s anything else going on that’s gonna create traffic tie-ups downtown today, no?

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky was in a production of The King and I? Well anyway, before the show, Brasky chloroforms the entire cast, and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews.
like my doc told me before my last sigmoidoscopy

It's on the front.
