Regarding that draft pick of Boston's...
Who would you suggest trading or otherwise to get at Tyler Seguin? More importantly who could we trade that would be considered a fair trade for the second pick?
I WOULD be all for it,
but I’d be worried as to what it’d cost. I’d imagine any deal would have to include our first rounder, at least one top prospect, and a roster player. Possibly: Ian Cole, Berglund, and Runblad, plues our #14 pick. Sounds like a lot, but if Seguin’s going to be half the player he’s supposed to be, it should be worth it. If that move happens, we take Seguin, and do nothing else this offseason aside from re-signing our FAs, I’d even be okay with keeping Mason in goal.
I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"
i think our first
and a few dmen should do the trick. since the blues seem set on not playing more than 3 young dmen at a time, we have a lot of options. anyone dman not named ej, polak or petro should be up for grabs. frankly, id trade any of them.
Pie and a first would be reasonable for Seguin but I’m not entirely sure I want to pay that. I think we have 9 players on the roster right now(counting steen and eller) who can be first/second line player if we give em a year or 2 to develop more. I just don’t think it will be worth it trading up that high in the draft. Who I would like to obtain though? Joe Pavelski. SJ is in cap trouble, setoguci is a bit more of what we need in a pure scoring winger, Joe is pretty badass and id like to see him in a bluenote.

Just because Jay McClement is the best defensive forward in the NHL doesn't mean he should win the Selke.
Bud Selig makes me thankful for Bettman.
I absolutely cannot believe that ref ruining Galarraga’s perfect game. Selig’ll look at it more at a later date. What the hell is there to look at – the guy was obviously out, and the call was wrong. Really chafes me.
I’m concerned about trading up to get Boston’s pick – it’d depend on who they would ask for. Apparently the cool guy to ask for in trades is always either Frenchie or Oshie, and I’d rather not that happen.
Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.
One angle I saw on the replay
showed the ball rolling around in Gallaraga’s glove and ending up a snow cone. Gallaraga even holds his glove up to the ump as if to say I got control after the catch. I only saw that replay once, most MSM seems to have pulled that version.
Ump Joyce says he screwed the pooch so it appears he never saw the loose ball.
Just sayin.
Just a chew toy for the hockey gods
and i complain about the intent to blow rule
thats goddamn ridiculous… why do we raise kids to be such pussies… if they wanna play sports they have to know you win some, you lose some… get over it
If you have a donkey and i have a chicken and your donkey ate my chickens feet what would you have.... 2 feet of my cock in your ass!! haha
It will teach them a valuable lesson.

How ironic is it...
… that a Dallas Stars-centered blog would stress the importance of video review and “getting the call right”?
