Just because Jay McClement is the best defensive forward in the NHL doesn't mean he should win the Selke.
Kovalchuk to Isles makes sense for a couple reasons.
1. Islanders love handing out big, ridiculous contracts for way too many years.
2. Kovalchuk obviously cares more about dollars than winning anytime soon.

that was him, verbatim. is it wrong for me to assume that someone with such journalistic prowess has no idea what a spellchecker is?
Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky was in a production of The King and I? Well anyway, before the show, Brasky chloroforms the entire cast, and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews.
Did he have to drop an "s" to get under 140 characters?
