Something REALLY hockey-related; the Blues' Traverse City roster
By Brian Weidler, Game Time Prospect Department
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Blues have finally released a roster for the upcoming Traverse City Prospect Tournament, which kicks off on Sep. 11.
LINK to Blues' Traverse City roster (courtesy of Red Wings Beelzebub Central dot com).
Jake Allen will handle the goaltending chores, and the Blues have once again invited Barrie Colts' (OHL) goalie Peter DiSalvo to participate. Di Salvo backed up Allen last year as well, and this could possibly be an audition for a roster spot in Alaska as the first call-up should either Allen or Bishop get hurt in Peoria (or get called up to The Lou).
In four years in the Ontario League, the 6' 0, 180-pound Di Salvo has played in 110 games (6021 minutes), mostly with Barrie. The Oakville, Ontario native has allowed 288 goals on 3277 total shots for a career 2.87 GAA and 91.2% save percentage. Di Salvo's career record in the OHL is 60-32-5, and he has posted five career shutouts.
Research is under way on the other players not currently on the Blues' reserve list. More to come as soon as possible.

Thanks for the link.
That defense looks to be pretty good with AP, Cole, Ponich and Cuinardi (sp?). Do they broadcast these games on the NHL network?Because I’d like to see this team play.
And to think . . . without the Prospects Department, I wouldn't know who a third of these kids are.
Looks like a solid lineup to me. Hope they kick some ass!
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
