Yay

Want to see terms before I see anything else, but I expect that the deal has left us enough room to try for a big trade at the deadline if things really go our way this year.

Breaking News: I'm currently in the process of writing "I will not say and/or type "that word" 1,000 times.

Two-year deal, like Perron...

… and like Perron, EJ should still be an RFA at the end of this contract.

Now to start working on next year’s half-dozen RFAs…

Anyone else surprised

That we got him for this cheap?

It's not that cheap

considering he lost an entire year to injury already. It’s a show us what you can do contract just like Perron’s.

No one knows why, but second only to eating the brains of the living, the dead love affordable pre-fab furniture.

Good Contract

Not too much money not too little. It’s about what I expected so can’t complain. OK I’m ready for the season now.

I hope we get a little snarl for that 2.6 large

The boy needs to get a little more edge. Good signing, dude is going to be huge. I saw flashes of Coffey and Neidermeyer in some of his rushes last year. Strap a joy buzzer in his jock and when we need the tying goal hit the remote and VOILA!!

Just a chew toy for the hockey gods

I cant believe the idiots.....

Over at the Asylum are questioning this deal and the Perron deal……

there are truely idiots out there…….

These deals are awesome……we resign, they get decent money and we keep RFA rights…….cant beat it……

I still maintain Vladimir Konstantinov got what he deserved...If you can't handle that then kiss my ass......

agreed

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky was in a production of The King and I? Well anyway, before the show, Brasky chloroforms the entire cast, and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews.

hells yeah.

Here is a Canuck fan in the TSN article: http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=329319
“Good player, good signing. I have St. Louis being #1 in the central division. The thing that frightens me about this team as a Canuck fan is that they still have 9 mil in cap space and only need 1 roster player, a forward. They also have no glaring weaknesses and might as well sign Tarasenko or Schwartz and use 1 of them.”

mwhahaha.

Not bad to sign an Olympian for a contract this cheap.

Not to mention someone who, if he does his work in the next couple years, will get PAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!1

A solid signing indeed.

St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
