It's impossible to find a moment . . .
when Charles Glenn is NOT kicking ass.
STH’s, get this shit done. Easiest project ever.
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
I've tried
The problem is i only have a cell phone on me at games and it can only record 30 seconds of video at a time. Charles’ rendition of the National Anthem takes 2 full minutes (ask me how I know lol). Another problem, usually his back is to me (section 326) while he sings it . Someone with a decent video camera needs to step up, I don’t own one.

Mission Impossible
But yes, we need Charles Glen video here. Hey, have we ever interviewed him for the site? That would be a pretty interesting piece.
God I can’t wait for hockey to start. I plan on hitting the practice Saturday and the Scrimmage Sunday if I can. It shall be epic. Best birthday weekend EVER!

Fueled. These new shores burn. Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more.
I know this will probably get me shot but.....
Im not a huge Charles Glenn fan……..
Ive seen and heard better…….just sayin…..
I still maintain Vladimir Konstantinov got what he deserved...If you can't handle that then kiss my ass......
"I've got a bad feeling about this..."
Get. Out.
I hear the National Anthem just about every day at work and so often it’s so. fucking. bad. It’s awful. Charles rocks that shit.

Seriously...
As someone who has actually sung the song, it is actually one of the more difficult songs to sing. Requires an enormous amount of breath support and range. Especially if you belt the entire song. Really easy to go flat in it as well. And, if you miss a note, it sounds terrible.
I appreciate a good voice singing the song, but I really like those who get into it much more. Charles sings his heart out every time and it brings goosebumps every time.
Of all the vocalists I have seen live, I only have three males that I like. As hard as it is to say, I like the Chicago opera guy. Charles obviously. And there is a petty officer who does some of the Cardinal games who I absolutely love.
If I was gay he would be wearing that outfit and singing the national anthem to bed every night.
Its weird... half the year my blood is red... but then the other half... it's blue... hm...
Sadly, I will only be able to watch 4 games this year. The at Colorado, at Chicago, Phoenix, and at Chicago games that are all on Versus. But I will be attending at least one game in Nashville and then the Atlanta game.

Gators, if you have broadband access,
NHL GameCenter Live is totally worth the money! It gives you ALL the games that aren’t on Versus or NHL Network. Since I live in Jonesboro, Arkansas, there’s no way for me to get NHL Network on my local cable without the words “at gunpoint” being involved; I watch the Blues on my computer!

Hey, you'll be in my neck of the woods!
Not sure if DanGNR and crew from last year are planning a repeat performance of crashing Philips and getting beaked by Thrash, but you should join up if they do. It was very much fun being obnoxious.

Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.
This.
Also, if you’re going to a game in Nashville, hit me up. I’m about an hour or so from there. And I’m totally willing to go.
Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.
You mean this?

Hellz ya… I’m up for it.. just gotta get the boss’ approval. and my work boss.
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
if this does end up happening

Speaking of unfortunate names for politicians...
We had a guy run for park board years ago, a local artist named William Crook. At least he had a sense of humor about it and painted his campaign signs with the slogan “CROOK – A Name You Can Trust!”

How do they pick the two no-tv games?
I can understand not showing the game against the Blackhawks-South, but Vancouver? Even if it is on Valentine’s Day, a game against one of the best teams in hockey (on paper) should be pretty intriguing.
Chicagoan in the Lou.
According to the website...
There are two games (Dec. 21 at Atlanta and Feb. 14 vs. Vancouver) that will not be televised in order to comply with Versus’ exclusive national TV window.
It’s a shame they couldn’t push the Vancouver game back to 9pm to get out of the exclusivity window. Then again, it’s a Monday night game, and time-shifting may not work for the corporate buyers lower-bowl STHs.
Honestly, I’m amazed that there are only two blackouts. Seems like last year there were almost a dozen, just from Versus conflicts… not to mention the whole FSMW-Dish fiasco.
Question is......
Will those games be available to NHL Center Ice users???
Im almost positive I was still able to get one or 2 of the blacked out games thru the other teams feed last year……And I know there was an early season game(in November me thinks) against Vancouver that was blacked out last year but I still got it on the Canadian feed……..

I'll do my damndest.
Glenn is always a highlight. I want to meet him so badly just so that I can tell him how much ass he kicks.
I was lucky...saw him in the concourse on my way to my seat.

He even stayed and chatted with us for a few minutes.
I specifically asked him about asking shitcago’s anthem “ritual.” He doesn’t like it of course,
but said it motivates him to belt it out better and louder that ever.
Great guy. He truly rules all.
PS if you get there within about 15 minutes of doors opening to drinkscotch, you may
see him hanging out by the shop behind section 121 I think. Guest services is there too.
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
i met him once as well
the guy doesn’t just sing, he LOVES hockey. we bullshitted about the team for about 20 minutes when he was standing by my seats before a game. he actually ended up bein about 5 minutes late to sing the anthem. the man’s a class act, and a great representation of the organIzation
