nice pics Dan
I love Perron’s skates. Are these the ‘white’ skates? They aren’t really white, very cool.
What was Cam cracking himself up at? Payne is instructing and then Cam is laughing.
Good pics of the mask too.

Thanks
Cam was giving two prospects a hard time after practice.
He skated over where they were stretching (collapsing?) and proceeded to have some fun with them.
Yep, Perron’s skates were the white ones I believe. They did have more white on them than the others.
I don’t really see what all the fuss is about. Perhaps just another controlling thing Murray did.
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
the white skates
here are DP’s skates and another of the same kind in all black . . . obvious difference, just not an obvious problem

Yep..
But not a huge difference. IMHO. Had to see them side by side to really see. (At least for me.)
Does the green dot mean anything in particular?
Thanks for the side by side pic.
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
the green dot
is just a part of the skate. those are rbk 11k pump skates. all the rbk pump skates have that dot. its where the pump “system” is.

Pump up the jams
Thanks for the pics Dan, specially the Joysticks ones.
Just a chew toy for the hockey gods
Ha...
Not really. He picks a spot on the boards along the half boards to shoot at. Someone feeds him pucks, and he one times it.
He does this almost every practice and warm up I have seen him do. (Although, I 1st noticed it in Sweden last year).

Hey, so, awkward question
were you the guy sitting right in front of me at the scrimmage today who deflected a puck off your face and accidentally saved my mom from almost certain death bruising? If so, thanks! Also, how is your face?
Oh, and great pics! Thanks for sharing!
Yep
That would be me. I’m ok. It feels bruised.
Came home and tried to show off my “battle” wound.
Nothing to show….sighh…
Had I moved faster, I would have been “the bailer.” Sorry.
After it hit me, it hit Jeff Q from Bluenotezone, then I think it hit his little girl.
But having been deflected off my face and his arm, there wasn’t much left.
(She was ok too.)

You'd be surprised how much damage a slow moving puck can do
One of my nastiest scars is from a puck that clanged off a cross bar and was just fluttering down to the ice. It caught my face right where the stauche is and opened me up like a can of tuner. Them puck edges are like a knife on skin.
Good to hear you’re okay. I’ll reach for a baseball but you’ll never see me reaching for a puck at a game.

I actually
had time to consider moving or not. I thought, “how cool would it be to have a bloody nose at a hockey event.”
Then I tried to move.

So Dan's there
giving up his face to bring us some pictures.
You sir deserve a rec!

Thanks for the pics
That goalie in the blue jersey (maybe Halak, but it’s hard to tell without seeing his number), looks pretty sharp with those white pads. You know, for a goalie.
You have a much better camera than I do, Dan...
What are you using?

Thanks..
It is my wifes camera. But I think I use it 90% of the time.
(of course, I bought it for her xmas present last year, so I paid for it, HA)
It is a Nikon D3000 with a 55-200 zoom lens. I still haven’t figured out how to customize the
shooting settings, such as ISO and F-stop. I just either use the non flash mode, or the “sports” setting.

But I LOVE the 2nd picture….
I didn’t use ANY camera tricks or photoshop to generate it. (except cropping the pic).
