Watching practice Sunday Morning...
The wife, son, and I were about 5 rows back watching the warm-up for the Blue & Gold game. Ty Conklin is standing to the side watching the the forwards drill and whatnot. He turns around and spots a family with a really young boy (18 months old at the max). Making eye contact through his mask, he stick taps the glass and waves with his catching glove while tossing a puck over the netting for them. It happened so darn fast, but it was a great moment and classy on ConkBlock's part.
Let's Go Blues!

Aren't hockey players the greatest?
I saw a prospect (Where’s the Beach) do this as well.
They are all a class act… ok, a few exceptions..
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
Awesome!
ConkBlock is the fucking MAN!!!!!
St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
He does this during pre-game practices too!
Conklin is so dang friendly with the fans, it’s so cool. The Blues goaltending tandem is perfect here: you have Halak, the quiet and reserved starting goaltender, and Conklin the friendly and relaxed backup. I hope they become best friends.

Carlo gave some kid a stick.
As they were coming out of the tunnel after the scrimmage for the second practice of the day.
Yeah
I saw that it was really cool. Just walked up, handed the kid the stick said “Here you go buddy” and headed out onto the ice. It was touching. In a completely manly sort of way.
Barret Jackman is my hero.
Fueled. These new shores burn. Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more.
