Halak Signing Video

So, our boy decided to say goodbye and thank you to the Montreal fans by holding a signing session in a Montreal Mall. He was charging $20 per autograph and all proceeds went to the Ste. Justine Children's Hospital in Montreal.

Montreal fans turned up in droves - over 5000 were reported to be lining up; the line extended over 1km and the session which was scheduled for 2 hours was extended by a further 90 minutes. LOL I think we can say that the dude is popular!

According to reports, Halak will be introduced to the media in St Louis on Thursday - but in the meantime, here's a very cute video from Centre 68 which shows the incredible number of people together with just how sweet a guy our new goalie seems to be:

the kids giving him some pictures they drew and colored.

I assume it was $20 per autograph? Some of these people had 3 items.

I bet if it was in the food court they’d make a killin’
