They had to go with Olli.
They needed someone foreign, exotic… European. Someone whose name was likely not a magical phrase to unleash a extra-dimensional horror (see also Jaarko Ruutu, Tuomo Ruutu, Teemu Selanne, and Tuukka Rask) that might accidentally be sung by a death-metal band. Someone who liked waffles.
Olli was their man.
