Blues video from Europe: 'Back to the future...'

Greetings North Americans!! Greetings St. Louisans!! Greetings fellow Blues fans!! Europa, back in da house. And a blue house it is, my North American friends!

Gerard from Amsterdam, some (many?) of you know me. Goedenavond! Anyway, I would like to honor the start of the Blues season with a nice video I once made about a very succesfull home opener... A video some of you might remember, but it's worthwile watching.

Take a trip with me down memory lane. Or even better: back to the future, 'cause many of the stars that will lead the Blues to glory this season, were still a young bunch back then... The vids after the jump...Read on...

Although home opener? You guessed right: it was in Sweden, you remember, from 2009. I was there. Ofcourse I was there: Germany The Netherlands and Sweden is like Missouri and Michigan...from Berlin Amsterdam to Stockholm is like travelling from St. Louis to Detroit...

To help us all getting in the mood, take a look inside the Blues trip and locker room with a couple of the vids I shot with my press card as a professional sportsjournalist who travelled to Sweden as a special St. Louis Game Time-reporter. LOL.

And where I watched the Blues have a succesfull opening of the season. Just as we will have tonight against the Preds.

AND YES: I'll watch the game live. Ofcourse I'll watch it live... (long live hockeystreams.com)... Because this Dutchie overhere is a Blues fan.

Mind you, so is Sir Stanley (word goes).

GO BLUES. And see YOU in the GDT!

Good to be back. Let's play hockey, amigo's!

Greetings from The Netherlands.

Goedenavond!
