Boudreau Officially Fired as Caps Coach
New Caps coach Dale Hunter will make his debut against the Blues tomorrow.
Hopefully this doesn't energize the Capitals the way the Payne firing affected the Blues...

Score a goal against the Caps . . . get blasted into the boards face-first.
Just ask Pierre Turgeon how that works.

It’s both kinda sad and kinda strange that despite a long, successful career, THIS is what Dale Hunter is most known for doing in his playing career.

not so surprising it followed him like that
… when you think about how absolutely unsportsmanlike and asshole-ish of a move that was. And in the playoffs causing major injury to an opposing star, no less. I mean, Hunter was obviously venting his frustration and didn’t intend to hurt Turgeon the way he did, but it still looked really bad.

Imagine if someone took a run at Crosby like that and knocked him out for the rest of the playoffs. The league would crucify him.

Thank ya sir.
I knew you’d have it queued up.
Yep, that was bad and he will always be known by that one play. Just like Bergevin will always be known for throwing the puck into his own net. Not that Turek would have stopped any of the other pucks that series.
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
