Trivia answer hunting led me to this. The pregame of the last ever hockey game played in the barn. (toronto due up, and didn't our teams have the greatest buildings ever a long long time ago?) History isnt always as happy as we would like it to be though as this seems like a dire situation for a last ever NHL game. at least JD is there.

That glimpse of Shanny

with the face guard on. Wasn’t that after he lost the 4 teeth and his mouth looked like meatloaf?
He still has that pretty scar on his lip

Man, I miss the old barn. No place could rock, and I mean literally rock like the upper deck.

Wow

So many things I miss in that video. The sweaters of my favorite era of Blues hockey, the old barn (and how it would previously mentioned how it would rock…especially if you sat under the upper deck), Tom Mees, JD in the booth, ESPN/ABC giving a damn about hockey…seems like forever ago.

the jersey names

the only two i see are a bassen and an emerson

woooooooooooooooooooo

wooo

i also forgot a bit why i liked power forwards, not only did going to the net mean you got 57 cross checks in the back from someonelike garth butcher or ray bourque, the net didn’t move so if you went TO far in front of the net (ala hull did in the preview) you got blood on your face.
