Naturally, the Blues find a way to win on days when I hand off the links to someone else. I might have to get backed up on school work more often.

Carlo will be back for Friday, rocking a full face cage to protect his eye. Even if it was a pretty nasty injury, you know he's catching all sorts of shit in the locker room for wearing one of those in the pros. [P-D]
And with #28 coming back, somebody has to be sent down. It'll be Tyson Strachan, who has to pass through waivers. Knowing our luck with getting people through waivers, it was nice knowing you, Tyson. Enjoy your (probable) new team. [P-D]

NHL News:

There's always a few trades that get the ball rolling as the trade deadline approaches. Toronto and Anaheim got the ball rolling, with Beauchemin headed to Anaheim in exchange for Lupul, a prospect, and a pick. Burke must like working with his former squad, the Ducks. [PPP]

I don't think unless they send Conks that way.

Allen and Bishop are great, don’t get me wrong, but we still don’t know how they’ll fair at the NHL level. I think we’d be able to get some good players for Conks, but who do the Isles have that we want?

Is he slumping? Is he still developing?
Is he a career AHLer?

A Blues question for you guys

With N64 playing so well, should the Blues run 7 defensemen and 11 forwards for a while? Cam seems like an obvious scratch to me.

… but unless one of those defensemen is going to take a regular shift at wing, I don’t see this working. The Blues need all the scoring they can get.

(On second thought… any change that puts Cam upstairs is likely to increase the team’s offensive capacity, so why not?)

one of the blues owners (fan of the paper: mike) emailed me the offer i am sure most got, free tomy seat delivery of concessions via the phone/ap for rest of the season

i looked at it a bit, but i can’t tell even the most basic things

and i really only need to know three things

a) does anyone use it? anyone? ever?

b) even though it is “free to use” for the rest of the year are they gonna want a cc number (i.e. is this prepaid – and if so with or without gratuity- obviously for the free trial it would be without the “fee”)

c) and the only reasson i’d consider it : can i get guiness, pils, sharp, smithwick, cathedral square, blue moon, and. or amber boch. I literally can not find a menu listing (and apparently you dont get one unitl/unless you are using it in game)/

yea to get a real beer to show up, i’d think about it. else? thanks mike, i appriciate the offer, but i’ll pass
