Sunday Links: Boo Hiss Edition

In an attempt to clear my head I went on a small road trip yesterday. It didn't work because Phil Collins was on the Classic Rock radio stations a lot.

As far as the Blues are concerned I think the players need to work out their own shit, together. Turn your weaknesses into strengths, turn your strengths into weapons. It's easy to say this as an outsider, but having been part of a team I know that the players, together, are the only solution. They are the ones out on the ice night after night. They are the only ones who can change their fate.

What can fans do? Support them. We can be frustrated; we can be pessimistic; we can be optimistic; we can be hopeful. But at the end of the day, we need to support them.

Blues News:

  • @$&@#%! [Post Dispatch]

  • I really think it should be the other way 'round. The Blues need to watch the Rivermen play. [Post Dispatch]

  • I'm not sure you want to see these, but the Hockey Wilderness recap comes with three fights from last night. [Hockey Wilderness]

Hockey News:

  • If you have the time, go back and watch all of the fights from Friday's Pittsburgh/New York fight game. That game was out of control. The Pens and Sighlanders were given suspensions and whatnot. [Post-Gazette]

  • The set up: The Penguin's bus was in a minor accident. The outcome: Fleury looks funny. [Pensburgh]

  • Rushing the development of talent? That sounds familiar. [Buzzing The Net]

  • Ted Leonsis continues to make improvements to the Verizon Center. There's still a lot of work to do after the ESPN article on sanitary stadiums and such. [On Frozen Blog]

  • Stars agree to two-way contract with Jason Williams. [THN]

Carnage Corner:

If you're pissed off, this is your section. Carnie brings angry music to you this morning courtesy of last night.

Videos:

"Cut off your fuckin' finger? No fuckin' problem. Jack Chop!"
