So we finally have some news on the Blues ownership situation. Dave Checketts, the 30 percent majority owner (let that sink in), is looking for an investor to let him keep running the show. St. Louis businessman Tom Stillman is willing to buy in to the team, but not as a silent partner. Stillman wants the whole shebang. He made a bid to buy the whole team, but has been turned down. Time is running out on Dave Checketts. He either needs to find a rich friend who loves the idea of spending money but having no say in how things go down. Or, he can sell to the guy willing to buy.
