So...next year?
We got some surprises this year, Matt D'agostini probably being the biggest one. Do you think he's good for 20 goals every year? Or did he benefit from playing time on the top 2 lines and is more of a 3rd line, 10-15 goal scorer? What about Berglund? He seems to have found his game after missing it since his rookie year. He got back up to his career highs and had a good year. Does he continue to move up or does he slip back into inconsistency? Alex Pietrangelo....what a year for him. He was our best defenseman, despite being a "rookie"(quotes because the NHL doesn't consider him as such), and earned himself an A on his jersey by season's end. My biggest worry with him is a terrible case of the sophomore slump, it happens to so many, let's hope Petro can stay away from it. How about David Perron? This season was obviously a wash for Perron, as he wasn't able to play for most of it. Many, myself included, expected a break out year for him, where he would score 30+ goals, and undress many a player across the league. Does missing this season hinder his progress? Or does his breakout year still happen...just next year? Does Jackman make it back next year? Conklin(probably not)? Is Ben Bishop ready for the backup role full time? Are we in for another defensive logjam next season with different players being rotated out of the final spots? Is there any room for Jonas Junland to come back? Do the Blues make any major moves over the summer? How does the ownership situation play out?
All of these questions and more will be answered in the coming months..... WELCOME TO THE ST. LOUIS BLUES OFF SEASON!

I'm hoping REAL HARD
that Frenchie gets over his post-concussion syndrome; without a quick ownership change, I don’t see the Blues adding any expensive free agents. I think they’ll bring back Jackman, and Bishop will be the backup goalie next year. IF Perron is healthy, I think you see these lines next year:
McDonald-Backes-D’Agostini
Perron-Berglund-Stewart
Steen-Oshie-Crombeen
McRae/Porter-Sobotka-Reaves
D-pairings:
Colaiacovo-Pietrangelo
Nikitin-Polak
Jackman/Cole-Shattenkirk
But what do I know?

after the way this season played out
shattenkirk is way above cole on depth chart to me
going through the handshake line at my game the other night, guy says youre still a prick Evan...me: yep sure am next time stop me from scoring
Sorry...
I meant either Jackman or Cole playing alongside Shattenkirk. I think Cole may be the 7th D-man — or first callup if (when) somebody gets injured. I didn’t include ‘Tank" Tarasenko because he isn’t signed yet…

Good point RE Tank.
Also, while I REALLY want and hope T-90 is the MAN in the NHL, he still has to come to camp and prove he can play here in N AM. I think others may be right though, spending a year in Peoria would be the best thing for his N Am development and long term benefit far outway the shorttem gains of him playing in the Lou next year.
Wow… can’t believe I just said all that. I almost sound like a responsible GM … or something.
PC Load Letter? What the fuck does that mean?
This offseason will be a big determinant to future success.
Wait, we said this last year, didn’t we?
Shit. Hell. Fuck. Guh.
