SLGT 'B' League Results

I'm kind of surprised that no one posted this yet.

League Champion

I tried the following experiments and got mixed results.

A penalty minutes "line" of Cam Janssen, Daniel Carcillo and Colton Orr was great for penalty minutes, but little else. It helped early in the season, but got dropped around early December. Clearly I should've held on to Janssen long enough to get the points for his goal and assists.

I waited too long to drop David Perron because I was hoping he'd come back before season's end.

Shuffling goalies around like I did hurt. At least I wound up with James Reimer just as he got hot.

And C League

I finally had a dead week in the finals. I won the regular season outright, and if it was this week instead of last, I would have swept (Perry and St. Louis on your team will do that for you). I can’t wait until next year. Keeper leagues perhaps?

Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.

I propose we re rank our teams from all leagues and have “A” “B” and “C” leagues again.
Maybe take the top 8 teams in “A” the top 4 in “B” and the top 4 in “C” ?

My main concern is to make sure that we have active participation throughout the league.
I think a few teams in “A” wound up just letting their teams “ride.” IE not benching players,
basically, just not editing their starting line up or making any roster adjustments.

I had a blast playing this year. (“A” leaguer, 3rd place.)

We’d definitely have a more active league. We could form all the leagues using a seeding like that.

I had fun this year

and I updated my teams even though I was mired in the middle of my conference with no shot at the playoffs. Do what y’all want though

I was active

and still sucked in A league. Last year I was right in the middle this year, I’ve conveniently forgotten but it was lower.
Hoping baseball is better.
Finished 2 in football (hubby’s work league since there wasn’t one here)

Yeah I sucked ass in the "A" league too.......

but I run another league and Im in the championship match this week…….hopefully my group of slightly above average goalies can pull it out for me….

I still maintain Vladimir Konstantinov got what he deserved...If you can't handle that then kiss my ass......

Yea, a lot of fun this year

Actually playing with 11 other people who are friendly AND knowledgeable really is a whole new fantasy experience for me.
My Robber Barons dissapointed me in the end, but it was a good time all year through! Let me know if there’s a league next year, I’ll surely be in. Keeper sounds like a lot of fun, too!
