Blues Ink Berglund to Two-Year Deal

The biggest news today in the NHL is obviously going to be this: The Blues have signed Swedish center Patrik Berglund to a two-year deal worth $4.5 million total. We all should have seen this coming—the Blues love two-year deals. The cap hit isn't terrible and it's nice that this won't drag into the summer. Berglund had great rookie year, a bad sophomore year and turned into a beast in the last few months of last season season. There were rumors he was spending too much time partying, but he seemed to wake up after Erik Johnson was traded (another guy who may have spent too much time partying). Berglund played great down the stretch and was arguably the best player in the World Championships. So what say you, GT crew. Good deal? Too short? Too much money?
