Niagara IceDogs General Manager and Head Coach Marty Williamson announced today that the IceDogs have traded defenceman Mike Schwindt along with Oshawa’s 2nd round pick in 2013 and Barrie’s 2nd round pick in 2014 (conditional) to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in exchange for defenceman Brock Beukeboom.
Beukeboom was originally derafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning (3rd round, 63rd overall) in 2010, and was acquired by the Blues along with the 87th overall selection in the 2011 Entry Draft in exchange for Eric "Captain Roboto" Brewer.
