The Springfield Jr. Blues will be playing the St. Louis Bandits on September 10, 2011 at 6pm in the lovely Hardees IcePlex in Chesterfield.  Yes, it's juniors hockey, and that means it's not going to kill your wallet.  Why do I bring it up now?  Well, the teams finally got their schedules posted on the Jr. Blues and Bandits websites.  I figured it might do to start generating some interest now.  I've heard rumor that the Jr. Blues fans will be making a bus trip to Chesterfield to cheer the Jr. Blues on, but haven't heard anything else just yet.  I know I'll be heading down there regardless, since it's the season opener for the team.

Tickets are $7, $5 for kids 6 to 17, and free for the under-5 crowd.  I have no idea what they have for concessions there, does anyone go there regularly to watch games?

Anyway, mark September 10, 2011 down as a night to drive out to see some hockey for cheap.
