Seems like TSN has jumped on our bandwagon as far as former Blue Brad Winchester is concerned....

Booooooo!
Some of us still like him!
Does Brad Winchester even still play for this team anymore? I haven't heard his name since the trade deadline.
No. There's NO way anyone still likes him.

Fight Club writer for the print edition of St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
The Throwdown Lowdown Report, only on The Bluenote Zone.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.

Not that it has anything to do w/ BFW...
… but the Blues apparently just signed Kent Huskins. A defenseman I know next to nothing about.

won the cup
so i guess that is a plus he kinda a mike weaver guy in that even the season he won the cup he wasnt expected to be a top 6 d-man. he did break the starting core for the sharks when they got him, but he had a season ending injury that im STILL not sure what it was ( something above the belt apparently)
depth player and/or leverage perhaps? unless the are planning to trade another d-man?
1year 1 million (not even sure its 1 -way) so meh. not much bad to be said about it, if nothing else it will add some experience (cup and 274 games) to a team that might just be a bit young back there :)

Yahoo had him ranked the 15th best D-Man in free agency
And described him as more or less Mike Weaver. A 3rd pairing, penalty killing, grit player. Aka, exactly what our defense needed.
The Blues management is awesome. One 3rd line forward with scoring upside and vet presence from filling every need I thought we had.
Breaking News: I'm currently in the process of writing "I will not say and/or type "that word" 1,000 times.

They're still supposedly in the hunt for Jamie Langenbrunner...
…which would fill the last hole you mention.
