I have decided that despite this year's marketing epic failure to find a slogan from a St. Louis area band's lyrics, I'm still going to purchase some tickets for games this season. The box office opens at 10, and I'd like to be there in order to also score some preseason game tickets. So, I have some questions for those of you who have done the opening day tickets things:
First, since it opens at 10am, how soon should I get there? (I don't think I'll be camping out overnight, mind you.)
Second, where is the best place to park on a Saturday morning near the Scottrade Center?
Finally, I plan on getting two tickets for the Calgary game on Columbus Day and the Toronto game on the night before Veteran's Day. Will buying those four tickets count towards getting the preseason tickets? I'd like to see the Lightning play on the 20th, and the free tickets would help in that endeavor.
So, all of you seasoned veterans at line-standing and queue-forming, what's the best thing to do here?
