You're reading Blues news in the paper, but the words are all upside down and in Spanish or something. You're floating down an eerie canal that leads to... The Scary Door.

As far as outdoor games go...
the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors should have an outdoor game near one of their respective arenas. Basketball is a winter sport, after all!
I’d actually go to a Bandits – Jr. Blues outdoor game, especially if it was for something goofy like the “I-55 Trophy” or some such nonsense. Heck, make it a round-robin tournament and add the Chicago Hitmen for giggles. Most of the NAHL outdoor games to show up in Alaska.
Let's Go Blues!
Support your local NAHL team. Seriously.

Spiders are the wretch of existence.

And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
Relocation / expansion to Hawaii is not THAT crazy an idea...
If preliminary studies indicated that there was interest, why not?
Hawaii has no other professional sports team, so the only competition the Hawaii Islanders would get would be from UH football and basketball. Honolulu is a large enough metropolitan area to support a pro sports franchise.
Sure, there’d be logistics issues, but there are similar logistics issues in the minors and juniors with franchises in Alaska, and those issues are overcome easily enough. Schedule two or three teams in Hawaii at a time, and have each team play a couple of games over the course of a week or so.
It’s hardly any crazier a notion than the idea that was floated back in the 70’s and 80’s of expanding the NHL to Europe, and transportation logistics are further advanced now than they were 30-plus years ago.

You're absolutely right on a lot of things there.
I’m just always wary of placing any team in warm-weather markets and that goes back to me, as a child, saying “lulz” to Tampa Bay and Florida.
Kent Huskins cares. Do you?
As a corollary to F-U Fridays...
… perhaps we should have “Thank-You Mondays”.
Thank You: Line dancing (and the rest of “modern country”), for disappearing from the cultural scene.
