I recently moved up to chicago, and being from St. Louis I've already had many, many drunken conversations about why sports teams from this town suck more than Kane on Toews' dick, and the other night I got asked an interesting question.  Which teams do I hate most in the NHL, and who do I root for in the playoffs when they are playing each other?  I don't know which surprised me more, that a Hawks fan actually had the mental faculties to ask a genuinely interesting question, or how incredibly easily my answer came to me.  So, without further ado:

MY HATE LIST (in order)

1. Detroit - I will always root for any team that plays this one

2. Chicago - Same as above, unless they're playing Detroit, that is the only time I will ever want this team to win

3. Any Canadian team - Canucks have priority here, because they're the only good one and the last team to knock the Blues out of the playoffs

4. Columbus - I hate these douches, I really fucking do

5. San Jose - The team that proved the curse of the Presidents Trophy real for me.  That and my Dad switched allegiances when he moved out to California to the Sharks.  I still haven't forgiven him.
