Juniors go home: Blues cut three
The Blues have sent forward Cody Beach (Moose Jaw Warriors, WHL), defenseman Brock Beukeboom (Sault Ste. Marie, OHL) and goaltender Jordan Binnington (Owen Sound, OHL) back to their junior teams.
This leaves the current training camp roster at 7,069 players. Further cuts will occur in the coming days as the team tries to get down to 23 skaters and two goalies on the roster.

cold chill
i got a cold chill reading Sean’s last line. the stay and hopefully impossible thought “unless the blues go with three goalies” popped to me mind.

23 skaters would be sweet...
…but 5 extra guys would be way too many. Blues can’t afford that much eating chicken wings in the press box at every game.

Binnington sounds like a decent enough kid.
Then again, you can’t always trust what you read from a guy’s Twitter, either. I’ll go with my first reaction, though. Also, he’s a goalie. That automatically makes him a little more awesome than other hockey players.
Let's Go Blues!
