Anybody else think that the Cardinals' playoff push will be met with an early exit if they make it in? Ever since the Blues got in a few years ago and got swept, my mind always goes there when a team goes balls out to make the post-season. I hope that isn't the case.

Re: the Puck Daddy Preview -- I have to admit...

…seeing a one-minute clip of Louie’s hijinks and shenanigans played over Tchaichovsky’s “1812 Overture” makes me have a better appreciation of the blue bear and what his role in the organization. I actually giggled at different times during that Louie mash-up.

Watched the Perron press conference.

If Albert Pujols stays with the Cardinals, he and David Perron need their own radio talk show with regular call-ins from Ozzie Guillen. I forgot how thick David’s Quebecois accent was compared to guys like Martin Brodeur and Martin St. Louis.

Figuratively speaking, I’m donning a pantsless blue bear suit and firing a t-shirt gun at my co-workers to remind them that I am a vengeful god. Literally, though, I’m just smiling to see a great hockey player come back to St. Louis.
