In case you're one of the few people out there who haven't been bombarded by the emails from Total Hockey, if you can get yourself to the St. Peters' RecPlex between now and 9 p.m. tonight, you can try some new Bauer hockey gear on the ice and test your skills against Alex Pietrangelo and Kevin Shattenkirk (@ShattDeuces).

This isn't a meet-n-greet sign-my-jersey type of event, but it seems like it could be fun to try on some new gear and skate with a couple of the Blues' best defensemen.

Also, I don't feel like a shill for Total Hockey by printing this because, really, I'm betting that 98% of you who play hockey in St. Louis are already buying all your gear from them anyway. As a side note, if you're in St. Louis and you're buying your hockey gear from Sports Authority, you're doing it wrong.

Anyway, lots of skill events, from puck handling and a hardest shot contest, plus you can win some swag.
