Wolves Have Peoria's @#$%&! Number Once Again...

Jake the Snake earns an assist, stops 28 shots in 3-2 loss.

The Peoria Rivermen took the ice at Carver Arena for the first time this season in an exhibition matchup with the Chicago Wolves. Peoria rallied from down 2-0 to tie the game only to fall 3-2 on Kevin Connauton's second goal of the night.

Newly-acquired defenseman Danny Syvret and 2010-11 Rivermen scoring leader T.J. Hensick tallied for the Rivermen.

Allen's assist came on Hensick's goal, a power-play tally at 6:04 of the third period.

The Rivermen journey to Rockford for a Saturday night game with the Ice Hogs to close out their pre-season schedule. The 2011-12 regular season opens on Friday, Oct. 8 at Carver Arena vs. the Milwaukee Admirals.
