St. Louis Game Time Fantasy League Update - Sign Up Now!

Ok, the deadline for renewal has past. There are some open slots still in the three leagues.

SLGT A League: Experienced Fantasy Players

SLGT B League: Middle of the Pack (where I probably really need to stay put, but whatever)

The password for all of these leagues is backesperron, all lowercase. If demand exceeds supply of slots this year by a bunch, I can make a 4th league. By that point I'll probably be so out of it from all of the fantasy drafts that I've screwed up that I'll just snooze through that one.

Well it wont let me join

…without commisioner approval. I want to let those who played last year get first chance, but if there is dead weight I’d join the newbie league. (I think that would be best as the only other time I ever played Fantasy Hockey my performance was dreadful. If there was anything worse than Dead Last, that would have been me.)

Got the same error message

Said that if all the returning players join the league will be full and it said the commish has to remove the returning team slots and open them up to the public.

Argh.

I’m still trying to figure out how to delete the dead weight. So far it’s just letting me delete teams that’ve already re-upped, but the ones that haven’t are the ones who need to go.

If this keeps up, I’m going to have to start from scratch, and that annoys me greatly. Sorry!

I had a similar difficulty when I started up Baseball in the spring...

….I found the fix, but dont remember what it was.

It may be you ahve to delete the teams, not just the invites.

I think Yahoo saves some stats affiliated with old teams from pervious seasons. That is the stuff you have to get rid of.

Found this on a Yahoo message board:

they’ve changed it up a bit this year as compared to last year, i had the same problem recently. if you go to ‘invite friends’ you’ll see a list of all the teams that were in it last year. you either need to remove those teams off your list, or send an email invite so that one of your new people joining is effectively being that team.

If there’s a spot available amongst any of the leagues, particularly whichever one is packed with editors, it would be really cool if I could sneak in.
