I'm thinking there was a snaffu
LOL, I posted the link to that video last night in the GDT when it somehow went into a Star Wars tangent.

I wrote the “outline” for the links at 5 pm yesterday, because to watch the Blues I have to go to a bar where I don’t GDT. So, technically, I beat you.
That’s also why there weren’t any links when you first looked at it.
And love that there was 1. this video and 2. a Star Wars tangent in GDT.
I've been asked to go...
…to a Star Wars burlesque show this weekend. This should be fun.

It's fine...
until they get to the Shaved Ewok portion of the show. Then the stuff you will never be able to unsee or drink away will occur.

going through the handshake line at my game the other night, guy says youre still a prick Evan...me: yep sure am next time stop me from scoring
I've seen some pretty big zippers in hockey and the military
Taylor Hall’s zipper is one of the bigger ones. It’s amazing with the pileups and scrums in front of the net there are not more instances of players getting cut.
Just a chew toy for the hockey gods
You know you have great friends when
you tell them you’re moving out of town in the morning and their first thought is “Let’s get this guy shitfaced!” I’m afraid I’ll be listed as questionable today due to a hango- I mean…upper body injury.
Oh yeah…the Blues game. That was pretty frustrating, until it became awesome! Petro is definitely going to be my next sweater, whenever I get the chance!
I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"

So did anybody who went/worked at Monday's game...
see the No Pants People?
Looked like fun. I think I would have joined them in their pantslessness had I stumbled upon them that night.
I once shot a man just to see him die...then I got distracted and missed it.
Wow, I went and I saw none of these people
But we went in the main entrance and out by the keil parking and sat on the single attack side so, judging by where these picture were taken it’s amazing that I missed them

bishop unrestricted free agent
a lot of talk about bishop and the like during the Elliot signing post, but. BISHOP IS UFA. which makes him pretty useless.
everyone was under the rfa mindset i think
without 17 NHL games THIS season Bishop will be a group six unrestricted free agent.
Unrestricted free agency
Group 6 free agents (must be elected by the player): Players who have reached age 25, who have 3 accrued years of professional experience (that is, beyond junior or collegiate hockey), and whose contracts have expired, but have played less than 28 NHL games played for goaltenders.
blues get nothing for bishop if they do not trade him, and NEXT to nothing if they do unless they trade him to a team that plans to start him (and who would that be?)

My guesses on who needs starters?
Columbus. Steve Mason is still waiting for someone to fire a beachball at him and Curtis Sanford is not doing well.
Tampa Bay. Mathieu Garon isn’t cutting it and Dwayne Roloson is busy yelling at clouds.
New York Islanders: Nabokov is a headcase, DiPietro is suffering a punctured lung after being scared by a small child, and Montoya is just about as injury prone.
Package Bishop and someone else together and we might get a good player from Tampa, and by himself we might get a good player from Columbus or NYI.

according to capgeek.....
Bishop will be a RFA …….now that could be wrong but they’re usually good about contract status
I still maintain Vladimir Konstantinov got what he deserved...If you can't handle that then kiss my ass......

It looks like Bishop's free-agent status will be his choice.
Quoting Wikipedia (maybe someone not slacking at their desk like me can cite a better source?)…
Linky
On July 1 of a given year, the following players become unrestricted free agents, free to sign with any team without compensation to the former team.
1) Group 3 free agents: Players who have reached age 27, or have 7 accrued years of NHL experience, whose contracts have expired
2) Group 6 free agents (must be elected by the player): Players who have reached age 25, who have 3 accrued years of professional experience (that is, beyond junior or collegiate hockey), and whose contracts have expired, but have played less than:
- 80 NHL games played for forwards and defensemen.
- 28 NHL games played for goaltenders.
3) Players whose contracts have been bought out by their former team.
4) Players who do not meet either Group 3 or Group 6 requirements, but who have not been tendered a contract offer by the Monday after the NHL Entry Draft or June 25 (whichever is later). All other players are Group 2 restricted free agents.
For purposes of the above, an accrued year is generally defined as having been on an NHL roster for 40 games in a season (30 for goaltenders).
Bishop is currently playing his third “accrued year” in Peoria; he’s 25; and he’s played 13 games on the Blues’ roster. That seems to put him squarely in the criteria for Group 6 free agency, if he chooses to follow that path. If he doesn’t make that choice, then presumably he’d still be a restricted free agent under age-and-NHL-service rules.
correct and he can be
a group six if he is traded as well, so again, unless he goes in to someone as a starter he is really worthless as trade bait. a rental. an ahl level rental.
And a harvest of righteousness is grown from the seed of peace planted by peacemakers.
